This privacy policy applies to Vikki Amour, a self-employed bookkeeper trading as Bookkeeping4You USA (“we,” “us,” “our”). It covers our website (www.bookkeeping4you-usa.com), the bookkeeping and financial services we provide to clients, and the digital products sold through our website.

Bookkeeping4You USA is operated from Spain. We are committed to protecting your privacy and handling your personal information in line with applicable data protection laws, including the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and applicable US state privacy laws.

1. Who We Are

Bookkeeping4You USA provides bookkeeping, year-end preparation and fractional CFO services to small businesses in the United States, and sells downloadable business templates through our website.

2. What Information We Collect

If you’re a client:

Name, business name, address, email address and phone number

Business details such as your EIN and entity type

Financial records (invoices, receipts, bank and credit card statements, transaction data)

Payroll information for your employees or contractors, where applicable

Payment details for our fees

If you buy a product from our website:

Name, email address and phone number

Billing details and order history

Confirmation that you agreed to our terms, including that digital downloads are non-refundable

Card payments are processed securely by [payment provider, e.g. Stripe] or Amazon Pay. We do not see or store your full card details.

If you’re a website visitor:

Information you provide through contact or booking forms (name, email, phone, message content)

Technical data such as IP address, browser type, device information and pages visited, collected through cookies (see Section 9)

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16.

Prepare records and reports for you and, where you instruct us, share them with your CPA or tax preparer

Deliver digital products you have purchased and provide support if a file is faulty

Communicate with you about your account, order or our services

Comply with legal obligations

Send you marketing emails, only where you have opted in (you can unsubscribe at any time)

We do not use your information for automated decision-making or profiling that has a legal or similarly significant effect on you.

5. Who We Share Your Information With

We may share your information with:

Your CPA, tax preparer or other advisers, where you instruct us to

Accounting software providers we use to deliver our services, such as QuickBooks, Xero and Zoho Books

Payment processors, including [payment provider] and Amazon Pay

Our website and CRM platform (GoHighLevel), for hosting our website and managing communications, bookings and orders

Google (Google Workspace for email and file storage, and Google Tag Manager on our website)

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. Any third party we share data with is required to handle it securely.

6. International Transfers

We operate from Spain, and some of our service providers are based in the United States. Your information may therefore be transferred between the United States and the European Union. Where required, we rely on recognized safeguards such as the EU–US Data Privacy Framework or Standard Contractual Clauses to protect your information.

7. How Long We Keep Your Information

We keep business, financial and sales records for at least six years, or longer where the law requires. Other personal information is kept only as long as needed for the purpose it was collected, after which it is securely deleted.

Request deletion of your information (where we’re not legally required to keep it)

9. Cookies and Do Not Track

Our website uses cookies to make the site and checkout work and, with your consent, to understand how visitors use the site. You can accept or refuse non-essential cookies through the cookie banner when you first visit, and you can also control cookies through your browser settings.

Our website does not currently respond to “Do Not Track” browser signals. We do not run paid advertising or sponsored content on this website.
